To be placed on the eligibility list, please complete an eligibility list application.  Applications are accepted throughout the year. If a program site is full, students will be placed on a waiting list based on their age, family size, and family income. Families are contacted off of the waiting list with children who have turned four years of age on or before September 1st of the current school year given first priority. Eligibility appointments for three year old children will not be scheduled until after all eligible four year old children have been enrolled. 


Applications for the upcoming school year are available after April 1st of the current school year. Eligibility appointments for the upcoming school year will begin after April 15th.  The majority of our enrollments for the upcoming school year take place from mid-April through mid-June of the preceding school year. We strongly encourage parents/guardians to submit applications during this period.  Our office is closed during the summer and registration for the upcoming school year will resume after August 1st. 


Please note that you are applying to be placed on an eligibility list and that completion of the application does not enroll your child in the State Preschool Program. Enrollment appointments are only conducted if there are openings in the program.

Required Documentation

Applicants must provide documentation at the time of enrollment that demonstrates eligibility for the State Preschool program.  Some of the required documentation includes but is not limited to:

  • Birth Certificate or baptismal certificate for each child listed in the family size
  • Income Verification for all adults counted in the family size
  • Proof of Residency
  • Photo ID for Enrolling Parent/Guardian
  • Documentation that supports a claim of single parent status
