check out this week's throwback Thursday we got to chat with Toronto graduate Shanna Burns who is now running cross country and track for the United States Air Force Academy and it's studying engineering story show started it snowing in 6th grade at Pinon Mesa Middle School she continued on to Toronto where she ran cross-country and track for All 4 years what is Shannon's favorite smelling memories is during her sophomore year in 2012 but her team placed 3rd and went up on the podium to receive their medals and state class she says that was a really great day too Diamondback China says it is such an amazing opportunity to run division 1 cross country and track for the Air Force Academy and so proud to wear the uniform and compete for the Air Force I am motivated 3 days to give it my all and work my hardest so then I can perform my best for my team I am very honored and proud to serve our country in the United States airport I'm so blessed to have this opportunity I wouldn't trade it for anything else Shannon's advice for Snelling students is to make goals for yourself and to motivate yourself to work hard for those gold everyday cool is important so make sure to have a good focus on your studies Chase download dreams and whatever you isn't life eventually the hard work will pay off and you will see yourself setting bigger goals than you ever thought was possible can a family lives here in the Tech Community where her sister still attempt aligns it snowing Community spell proud thank you for letting us be a part of your story
