hey my name is Bonnie Garcia I am currently employed at ca help Desert Mountain selpa and I graduated the year of 2000 and this is my snowline story I first started at Snow Line at Phelan Elementary and second grade and then went to Pinon Mesa middle school and let my 8th grade year I was at Valley Middle School is the first year they open graduated from there and then went to Serrano high school and my most memorable experience was my senior year when I was a camp counselor for the incoming 6th graders and I loved it because I was not only did I get to get out of school for an entire week but I also was able to taking the incoming middle schoolers and teaching the tricks of the trade there are a lot of amazing teachers at play but one of my most memorable and my favorite teachers was mrs. Henry not only this you teach me to love literature and learn to analyze it but all of the skills and strategies that she taught me and carried me through college and to what I'm doing today after graduating Serrano in 2000 I decided to pursue my bachelor's at Cal State San Bernardino graduated there in 2005 and pursued my first teaching credential through Kent State Fullerton and then got my second teaching credential and special education in Masters at Azusa Pacific University and after a few years of teaching decided that it was time to get my doctorate so cusb and got. And now I am a program specialist with the Desert Mountain selpa able to provide support to a number of districts regarding anything special ed and hopes of helping support all students if I can provide you with a couple of pieces of advice my first piece of advice would be to get involved not only with your school but with your community get involved as much as possible and my second piece of advice is don't let anybody tell you if somebody tells you no you go to somebody else or you keep trying and you keep trying until you make something happen for yourself
