hi snowline welcome to July it's riding home with another installment of three and three those of you who saw sweet first touch video know that I'll provide three important update Sheridan 3 minutes or less so that you feel connected to the snowline Joint Unified School District as well as inform about what is and will be happening first do the staff families and community members update number one state budget and funding for schools Governor Newsom in the California legislature just reaching agreement on the state budget for the upcoming fiscal year that began yesterday on July 1st this is our one time money's the additional support will target areas like academic and social emotional learning special education transitional kindergarten expansion over the next five years school with Christian College and Career Readiness and other expanded learning opportunities the feedback that our students staff families and community members provided on the El Cap survey inform the development of our district-wide plan that the school board recently approved our local control and accountability plan is in the process of being provide County and state officials look for a written communication from me next week outlining in very simple terms our efforts to improve the outcomes for all of our students in the upcoming school year and Beyond using the state budget funding update where to learning design for the new school year speaking of plans I want to remind everyone again that we continue to plan for a full reopening for the upcoming school year this means five full days of a person learning / we now for those who want an online learning experience snowline Academy will be available to meet that neat as more details on the situation come to us from state and local officials we will be certain to communicate the information right away so please spread the word and feel free to contact us if you have any update number three special board meeting on Tuesday July 6th there will be a special meeting of the Snow Line Board of Trustees V2 item agenda will cover public employment in my evaluation in are closed session format beginning at 5 as always in special meetings public comments on the two agenda items will be allowed in any actions that may be taken will be read out in Open Session to complete a public comment visit us at our website which is snowing school.com there it is 3 updates in 3 minutes take care be safe and please have a wonderful 4th of July weekend together
