Hello my name is Augie Barreda and this is my story when I was 13 years old I'm going to the tribe Community was part of the first graduating class from Pinon Mesa Middle School from there i attended Serrano High School for the next four years.  The two greatest moments I remember from Serrano was first making varsity football my sophomore year as I reflect back and remembering the coaches and teachers at that time in my life and inspired me to have self discipline something important which has helped me throughout my life up until this point second was I met my wife  we have two beautiful daughters and we're still in here in the community  my oldest recently graduate from Serrano last year and our youngest daughter is currently attendance Serrano upon graduating in 1992 I went on the Victor Valley College where I graduated from their Firefighter Academy and then I later went on to paramedic school over the past few years I've completed my bachelor's degree and a master's degree in public administration and now for over the past 24 years I've been blessed with a great career in the fire service any advice I can give to the students of the Snowline School District would be give back to the community invest in your school invest in one another listen to your parents listen to your teachers be nice to each other and  to follow your goals thank you
