Snowline is aware of a localized incident in the Pinon Hills Preschool classroom. On Friday, 5/5, the Preschool staff reported experiencing some type of insect/bug bite. No students reported any bites. We have been working with our Pest Management Vendor over the weekend to help determine the source of the bites. At this point, our vendor will need an additional day to allow adequate time for their pest monitoring protocol. The vendor will require the Pinon Hills Preschool classroom to be closed tomorrow, 5/8, so they can continue their analysis.
Snowline's students and staff safety is our number one priority, and due to the additional time needed by our vendor, Pinon Hills Preschool will be canceled tomorrow, Monday, 5/8/23. Please plan accordingly, as we hope to return to class on Tuesday once our Pest Management vendor provides the results of their study.
We will send out additional information tomorrow afternoon as soon as we receive the results from our vendor. Once our vendor has completed their study, the Snowline Maintenance and Operations team will ensure a deep cleaning takes place before students and staff return to the classroom.
