Dear Quail Valley Middle School Families,
We have received an update from Southern California Edison indicating that power is estimated to be restored at approximately 8:30 p.m. tonight.
Due to the extended power outage, we are asking parents and guardians who are able to do so to please pick up their students from Quail Valley Middle School.
To help ensure a safe and orderly dismissal:
- Please follow the directions of school staff when arriving on campus.
- Students will only be released to a parent, guardian, or authorized adult listed in the student’s records.
- Please be prepared to show photo identification.
- Please use caution and allow additional time, as traffic in the surrounding area remains heavily impacted.
If you are unable to pick up your student, please know that they will remain safely on campus under staff supervision. Students who are not picked up early will be dismissed at the end of the normal school day. QVMS Bus Riders will use their normal bus routes at the end of the school day. Bus delays may still occur because of traffic congestion in the area.
We appreciate your patience and cooperation as our staff works to safely support every student during this unexpected outage. We will continue to share updates as additional information becomes available.
