At its December 11, 2018 meeting, the Snowline Joint Unified School District Board of Trustees approved a resolution authorizing a provisional appointment to fill a vacancy on the board, which was created by the resignation of Trustee Richard C. Upshaw. In the case of a board vacancy, Snowline Board Bylaw 9223 stipulates that applications be solicited from individuals interested in being considered to fill the vacancy. In order to be eligible for consideration, an individual must be a registered voter and reside within district boundaries. Interested individuals are encouraged to submit a letter of interest and resumé by January 23, 2019 to the Snowline Joint Unified School District, P.O. Box 296000, Phelan, CA 92329, to the attention of Nancy Stapp.
