This storm has been one for the record books! It has been an incredible storm cycle, and we hope everyone has stayed safe! We have spent the day assessing our school sites, roads, and general safety for our students, staff, and community. Considering the road/travel challenges throughout the district, the necessary clean-up at our school sites, and HWY 2 still being closed to non-resident traffic, all Snowline schools will be closed on Monday, 2.27.

We will continue to evaluate our operations daily and keep everyone updated with the latest and greatest as soon as the information becomes available. Thank you for your patience and understanding as we ensure a safe return to school as quickly as possible!

Good morning Snowline,

Today, Friday, 2.24, all Snowline schools will be closed due to inclement weather. Most of the storm energy will pass through our area today. Please stay safe as you travel the roadways. As of 4 am, Wrightwood Elementary has 6ish inches of snow, and Phelan Elementary has a trace to 1/2 inch of snow. For all eastbound traffic, chain control is set up at Beekly and HWY 138. We hope everyone has a great weekend, and we will evaluate our operations throughout the weekend to ensure a safe return to school on Monday!
