Use of Facilities

Facility Use

While the District's school buildings and grounds exist for the purpose of educating students within the District, the Board of Education recognizes that the buildings and grounds are a valuable community resource that should be made available to the community for specific uses that will not interfere with educational activities. Please click the link below to request the use of a facility within the Snowline Joint Unified School District.  Please complete the form and return it to the school site in which you are requesting.

Use of Facilities - User Liability Insurance Program

Requests to use school department facilities/premises have become an increasingly common occurrence for many school districts throughout the country. Property and personal liability losses originating from these activities can be outside our control as a school district if not properly addressed. The result could be an increase in property and liability insurance, claims, and taxes to fund such losses or insurance increases.

The school district’s property and liability insurer, Southern California Schools Risk Management - Joint Powers Authority (SCSRM_JPA) offers to its member districts an Event Insurance Option.

The objective is to provide a low-cost insurance policy that protects both the “Tenant User”/applicant and the school district. The policy applies to bodily injury or property damage arising out of the use of our premises by the Tenant Users/applicant.

We have included information for you to learn more about the program in the event you need to arrange Liability Insurance for use of our facilities.

Please see the below flyer for specific information regarding the RVNA Insurance.
