Summer Send Off/Graduation Tunnel

 

 

 

Where should I park? Parking is tricky for this event as many people arrive early to secure seats for Serrano's graduation. You can park in the PMMS lot, District Office lot, Snowline Academy lot, Chaparral High School lot, Serrano lot, or on the street. Note that police and school police do enforce parking violations on these event days. We recommend carpooling. :)

 

Where do I enter? You will enter through the PMMS multipurpose room doors. 

 

What if I have a graduating senior and plan on attending the Serrano graduation? A group will convene at the PMMS/SHS entrance (north of the stadium) to enter the stadium AFTER the seniors have entered.

 

What if I don't have a Serrano ticket but want to attend the graduation? Staff may enter the graduation ceremony after the graduation tunnel and after the graduates enter and are seated, however, this only guarantees you a STANDING position to watch. You should remain standing in the grass/track area during the ceremony. If you do not have a ticket, it is STANDING ONLY for the entire ceremony. The bleachers are for ticketed attendees only!! No exceptions.

 

Can I bring my spouse/child/friend? Unless your person is a Snowline employee or retiree, they unfortunately cannot attend. Only Snowline staff and Snowline retirees can attend this event. 

 

What are the food offerings? Due to our shortened time period (Serrano graduation now starts at 5pm), we have dessert options including coffees, teas, shave ice, and funnel cakes. :)

 

How do I get my food? Check in at the MPR and get your food tickets to use at the food trucks.

 

Can I see the graduating seniors before the tunnel? Yes! The seniors are assembled in the PMMS Quad during our event. You are welcome to find your students and give them hugs/take pictures. 

 

What is the tunnel? We clap and cheer and hug the graduating seniors as they make their way onto the field to graduate, just before 5pm. It is a really fun event to wrap the year.
